WHAT TO SAY NEXT

Hmmm, well, what can I say next?  I think that really all I can say is what a slacker.  Ok, well….I don’t try to be.  Real life has been very trying lately.  But, we all have to persevere don’t we?   Life can be a bumpy road sometimes but eventually it smooths out for a better ride.  Good grief, I hope it is soon.

Let’s see what am I reading now…Cat & Mouse by James Patterson.  I think I have read it before.  Unbelieveable but, I can’t remember a damn thing about it…..But, I get a glimpse of memory every now and again.  I think, it is only because when you read the same author over and over again, and it is a book of a series, that there is a lot of repeat stuff or fluff is what I like to call it.

Recipes?  Nothing spectacular lately. If I could live out of a box or out of the freezer, I would.

I would like to have more time to reflect on what is going on….but, no time to spare.  In fact, it is time to shut this up and possibly think of tomorrow.

BURN AFTER READING

I am not one that laughs out loud at a movie trailer.  But, everytime I see the commercial for this movie, it makes me smile or laugh.  I think it is because you do not see Brad Pitt being so goofy.  Love that.  I just read some of the reviews for this movie.  It is getting mixed reviews.  I would love to see this one before it hits dvd.  I would like to see a movie that is a bit brainless, not about a bunch of mindless teens, no slashing about and makes me laugh.

FALL IS UPON US

I listened to the weather station on the radio this a.m. and it is suppose to get in the upper 60′s today.  *Sigh* fall is definitely upon us.  I just wonder what happened to summer??  We really didn’t have much of one.  I am scared to think what our winter is going to be like.  My grandma always use to say that you will get as much snow in the winter as the water in the summer.  We had severe flooding.  Hmm….will have to keep you posted on how that old wive’s tale works out for us.

FINALLY, GHOST HUNTERS ARE BACK WHOOHOOO

I am so glad that the Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi will be back tonight.  I love them a whole lot better than the International group.  I really do not know what Sci-Fi was thinking there.  I myself think that if anything, they should have boated the crew overseas so that Steve could have been with the original group.

I wonder if Brian is going to be back with the original group.  I am hoping not.  He is the drama queen of the bunch.  I would like, however, if Sci-Fi would bring more of the personal lives like they did in the first season of the group.  It made it more reality t.v.  So, maybe I am talking out of the side of my mouth when I say I want Brian gone.  It was good reality t.v.

Well, my hand is up in the air on who is going to be watching tonight.  I do not think you could pull me away.  Well, maybe if you got a tow truck.

SHEAR GENIUS

Who watched Shear Genius on Bravo and wondered what the hell were the judges thinking??  I guess I was not a fan of Dee at all.  I was thinking more on the lines of Nicole.  Because I hated Charlies styles.

If I had my choice, I would have kept Daniel only because I loved his personality.  I would probably go to him just because I loved to listen to him talk.  I do think that good stylists can gossip as well as cut.  You bet.  But, I would definitely not let him make me poofy headed.

HATE TO DUST? ME TOO….AAAACHOOO

I am having such problems.  I really have a time with dusting.  Because when I do, I end up with a major thunder booming migraine headache and am down sometimes 2 days.  What the hell??  I have even tried the Swiffers and I have to admit that they are probably the best product for folks that have problems handling the dust up the nose kind of thing.  But, I am still having problems.

So, it makes me not want to dust and then it looks awful.  OOOohh the headache of it all.

I need help, any suggestions???

GAMEBOY SP vs. DS

O.K., I love my little Gameboy SP.  But, it is getting harder and harder to find games for it without chancing it on Ebay or other used game stores.  I am looking toward possibly buying a DS.  I went into Bust Buy the other day and there are shit load of games for the DS and they are pretty kewl.  I even thought the diet, learning a language and other programs that were not games were very interesting.  I loved the idea.  I checked into the PSP and I think that the Gameboy DS is much more where I want to be with the games etc.  I like the Wi-fi idea where you can play other folks from the internet.  Very awesome for a handheld.

Now, my dilemma. Nintendo is so good at changing styles right before Christmas to generate huge sales.  They love to limit release so that everyone is grappling for the right gift.  I wonder if Nintento is going to be bringing out something new or a newer version and I should wait a couple of months? I checked their website and I didn’t see any mention of any changes.  Anyone got any scoop on this?  If so, I would love to know before I fork out the bucks on a new old version if you know what I mean.  Because if there is anything that irks me more is when a company puts out a product that blows the old one away and you just bought the older version not knowing of the updates.  GRRRR…..

WHAT AM I READING NOW?

Well, let me just tell you then. I finished Ghost Walk by Heather Graham.  I liked it better than the previous Heather Graham book I read.  It had a great story line about folks that can see and talk to ghosts.  The romance wasn’t too too heavy.  So, it made it a fairly good read for me.  It read very quickly, therefore, I think that it would be a great holiday read.

I am reading now Eve of Heaven by Marjorie M. Liu.  I am having a bit of a problem getting into this book.  Maybe because I have a load of irons in my fire or that this book reminds me of an X-Men take.  I will keep you in the know on this one.  I have only gotten through 40 pages in 2 days.  I do not know if that tells you something or not.

GOLD KIT SCAMS AGAIN

I got a comment on a previous entry about the Gold Kit Scams.  Someone that prefers to be anonymous has indicated an interest in possibly filing a class action suit for all of those that have possibly had problems with these OLD GOLD OR KIT companies.  Please click on this link to read the comment.  It sounds like they would like you to keep checking in on this blog for more info.  Here it is for your info http://housewitch.blog.com/2233069/
